Visit suppression.peopleconnect.us. You can also access it directly from the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the bottom of the TruthFinder footer, which leads to the same portal. This single Suppression Center performs removals for TruthFinder, Intelius, Instant Checkmate and US Search.
2Verify your email address
Provide your email address to begin the process. PeopleConnect will send you an email with a link to click on in order to proceed. You must complete the email step: The Suppression Center needs it to link your request to a verifiable user identity.
3Provide your name and date of birth
Provide your first and last name, date of birth. PeopleConnect uses this information to verify you and to prevent someone from suppressing someone else's report. This information is for the suppression request, not for marketing.
4Find and suppress your record
Search by your name and state, find the record matching your age and location (popular names will return multiple results). Click "suppress" to currently hide your record from the website. Make sure "suppress future records when matched" is checked so your new data will be suppressed automatically.
5Confirm removal after 48 hours
PeopleConnect says removals are real within 48 hours. After 2 days, empty the cache on your browser and check yourself at truthfinder.com to make sure record is not listed. Save the email confirmation that it has been removed.

What happens after you opt out
Though even the Future-records option of the Suppression Center makes PeopleConnect better than most brokers, it's limited only to PeopleConnect brands. The same criminal-record and public-record feeds sold to TruthFinder are available to dozens of unrelated people-search and background-check sites not affected by this petition.
