What this directory holds, where it comes from, and how to have it corrected or removed. Last updated Aug 17, 2026.
This directory aggregates publicly available professional information about physicians practising in the United States: name, specialty, practice city and state, practice phone number, the public NPI number, and the aggregate patient rating and review count as published by public review sites (Healthgrades, Vitals, RateMDs). Each profile links back to its sources. The "pooled rating" is the average of every site's score weighted by its number of ratings; it is a summary of patient opinion, not a measure of clinical quality.
The directory is operated by WhiteBridge.ai as part of the WhiteBridge service. The WhiteBridge Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply; this page describes what is specific to the doctors directory. Links from this site into the WhiteBridge search app lead to a separate product covered by that policy.
Profiles with an NPI are being checked, progressively, against two public US government registers and removed when either applies: an NPI the CMS NPI Registry reports as deactivated (typically deceased, retired or no longer licensed), and any NPI on the OIG List of Excluded Individuals/Entities. Listings without a public NPI cannot be matched against those registers. If you believe a profile should have been removed on either ground and has not been, write to us and we will check it by hand. Profiles removed on request are kept on a suppression list so they do not reappear after a data refresh.
Professional data already published by public directories is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f) where it applies): helping patients see, in one place, ratings that are already public but scattered. You have the right to object to that processing and to request erasure (GDPR art. 17 and 21). For California residents, the professional information here is "publicly available" information under the CCPA; we do not sell or share personal information and honour deletion requests as described below.

Include the profile link (or the doctor's name, city and NPI if you have it) and what you want changed. Requests are answered within 30 days. Removal from this directory does not remove the underlying listings on Healthgrades, Vitals or RateMDs - those requests go to the source sites.
The directory itself sets no cookies. The site-wide WhiteBridge tag manager (Google Tag Manager) runs on this section as on the rest of whitebridge.ai; what it collects and how to opt out is described in the WhiteBridge Privacy Policy linked above. Page views are also counted with cookieless Plausible Analytics through WhiteBridge's own pb.whitebridge.ai endpoint, as on the rest of whitebridge.ai. The directory also keeps its own first-party usage statistics - which pages are viewed, how far they are scrolled, which links and buttons are clicked - with no cookie and no stored IP address: the visitor identifier is a hash of the IP address and browser with a salt that changes every day. The Inter font is loaded from Google Fonts, which sees the request as any web host does. Outbound links to review sites and to WhiteBridge carry plain URL parameters identifying this site as the referrer; nothing about you personally is included in them.
